a day at Ark Avilon Zoo

I'm having some thoughts  on where i should bring my niece today, either Yexel Toy Museum or Ark Avilon Zoo, but we end up going to the zoo since my niece would really like to see some animals, than toys. We arrived on Tiendisetas around 3:00 pm and we just walk for around few minutes before we reached the zoo, lucky enough the area is not crowded.  They were some Family also decided to take a trip in the zoo.  While walking, you'll going to see some Stone structures and some full grown plants, makes you feel  like your in some sort of forest.  Upon looking closely on the structure of the zoo it really looks like an ark, which  where its name was taken.

Upon entering on the zoo, you'll going to see some animals which is available for sale. They were some Turtles, parrots, lizards, snakes, and guinea pigs. They also sell animal stuff toys and other merchandise at their souvenir shop which is on the opposite side of payment booth. Entrance fee is PHP 300.

When me and my niece decided to go inside, we are amazed on the ambiance. Our first animal seen there is fox, bears, tigers, there is also white tiger!, a jaguar and some parrots. They were some parts on the first floor where you can feed and take a picture with the animals.

It's my first time to even see a REAL tiger ! they really look like a harmless kitty or a stuff toy in those Magic potion shops, but surely DEADLY. While me and my niece were freakin starstruck to those tigers,
they start making out. Let me repeat that.  They just freakin making out!!  CENSORED .  LIVE SHOW.
Yung ibang kasama namin natawa since they starting doing' something, just even in front of us. Some people were amazed and took pictures of it, while me decided to take my niece away.

After taking some tour and taking some photos of eagles and owls, we decided to go to the other area
where you can see the "Largest Freshwater fish"  and crocodiles.  Honestly? that area is so creepy ever!
Makes you even think that it might have some Anaconda or  biggets Crocrodile that will snap your head once you decided to step your foot on that area. Over acting? NO. My imagination gone wild upon seeing it.

While going up to the second floor you have to take stairs, and you'll be amaze on their wall decorations.
I had to use some flash for the picture taken with my niece along with it to capture the wall decorations but the lightning in that area is quite dim.

For the second floor, some birds were being caged on the right side,  while on the left side you'll see some aquarium type cage for snakes and other lizards. It has some fun facts information enlisted in each aquarium cages.

After passing through the bird and snakes area,  you'll see the feeding area where pony, and rabbits can be fed. Thus you'll see the farm animals area for goats, pigs etc. Within this area you could also found the cafeteria and play area in case you got yourself hungry after seeing some animals. Cafeteria is full of biscuits and foods for kids. My niece bought a carrots to fed the pony, its so cute. Feeding animals at the second floor cost PHP 40.

I love how the Ark Avilon Management able to put an effort to design the stairway. They added lights, and wooden seat where love led lights are flashing. It's very, very cute.

Just below the stairs theirs some portion (next to the bathroom) where some animals skulls and bones can be seen. Thus, you could also see some assorted animal poster, the mission and vision of the ark avilon zoo, its also a place where you can just take some rest just in case you got tired going down at the stairs.

Had to take pictures of this stone structure because it's amazing. Me and my niece had a blast on our adventure at the Ark Avilon Zoo.

FINAL THOUGHTS: My first Ark avilon experience? its good. We are able to see some tigers and a jaguar for the first time. Zoo's ambience is also good. They have some decorations that kids will surely enjoy. Me as well, feel in love on their wonderful decorations.

If you're from Quezon City (same as me), and planning to take a visit there, here are some directions.
Take MRT going to Shaw Blvd Station, merong mga terminal ng jeep going to tiendesitas sa tabi ng andoks
(which is katapat ng Starmall), then from tiendesitas, few walks away you'll see the ark avilon zoo.
Transportation fee from MRT TO SHAW is 12 pesos, jeepney from shaw to tiendesitas is 10 pesos.

Go Kart at Circle of Fun

Today, as i promise to my niece i brought her into Circle of Fun. She surely loves Go Kart. Upon walking to Circle of Fun i realize how many family decided to celebrate Christmas Day at the Circle of Fun. I guess, it's because it's near and kids love rides there. Unfortunately for my niece, it's just me who's going to accompany  her to Circle of Fun. My mom & dad  supposed to come along with us, unfortunately both of them were experiencing back ache., or i might say that they just lazy. haha. So i will label that today is our Tita-niece bonding.

It's my second time going back to Circle of fun, i guess we came here back on March in which together with my niece again. I've tried Go karting before, i might say that it's fun yet exhausting too! Since today is Holiday there's so many people going in and out to Circle of fun. There's a lot of Tiangge's and Food vendors within the area. I can't help myself but buy those cute Lacey shorts. After shopping in some tiangge's we decided to finally come in to Circle of Fun. Entrance Fee is PHP 15  excluding rides fees. We first visit the Ice Age Adventure, full review is HERE.

What your kids may love about go karting is a different kind of experience at biking. Thought bike and go kart has the same pedals, sitting on go kart is much more comfortable than biking, and kids will surely enjoy go karting because they able to experience to use steering wheel, and feel free to dream they were driving their own car. Go karting is PHP 60 pesos for 30 minutes. Go Karting Management also able to organize go kart's models: dual seat karts, singles, etc. And also they profile kids who would like to try go karting by height and not age, so you'll sure that your kid will able manage her go kart since it's really suits her/him.

My niece really enjoyed  go karting. And it's always been the ride she always wanted to go back too. That's actually fine with me, since she able to get an exercise in a way that she truly enjoy. Go karting is not only for kids, they also have go kart models preferably for teens, and parents with little baby with them. There were some "traffic enforcers" also within the go kart area to make sure that pedestrian will be safe.

They were other leisure & amusement at the Circle of Fun aside from Go Kart which is Ice Age Island, Fish Spa, Train Ride & the Water Boat Biking (Sorry don't know what it is called). Be inform that other rides do charge a different fee from PHP 60-100, so better bring lots of money if you'll planning to try it all!
